Quick! 24 Hour Finding!

Aloha family a me friends :)

*Call to Facebook Advertising Elders in NYNYC Mission Office*

Me: "Sooo you're saying if we get a message in the middle of personal study or pday. We need to stop what we are doing and respond?"

Facebook Advertising Elders: "Yep. The quicker, the better. You have what the want and need. The first thing you should do when you wake up is respond to messages".

What?
Yeah. So basically earlier this year an Elder in our mission started making ads targeting his proselyting area. Fast-forward to today. He and two other Elders are now piloting this new project. Early last week we got a call from these Elders telling us that President Teuscher trusts Sister Howells and I and wants to start Facebook ads in Bermuda!
There is a handful of areas (16 or so) that are testing it out and we have to be super on it and on our accountability sheet because President Teuscher, the Missionary Department, and General Authorities are tracking and watching our progress and figuring out if they want to implement it to the Northeastern missions and then maybe even worldwide! Work is progressing!

How?
We have a church page for Bermuda. The Elders put out adds to target people in Bermuda and then the people click the message button and send us stuff like "I want to learn how to pray" or "How can I find more hope?".We wake up with messages and throughout the day get messages from people right here in Bermuda. And we've been learning different tricks and what not to figure out Facebook algorithms so that we can get our ads to pop up on more peoples pages!

Why?
Why is this cool. Well this allows us to be finding by day (as we are out) and finding by night (as we sleep). This allows us to reach those who we may not knock into because they work odd hours. People who actually have the desire to know, come straight to us. How cool is that. We have a few appointments already set up for this week! If you can't tell..I'm pretty stoked about this all haha.

This email is already long so I'll just cut to the spiritual part of this all.

We are priveleged to know that Christ lives. The angel at the empty tomb told Mary and May Magdalene: "He is not here: for he is risen...And go quickly(Matthew 28:6-7).
How quick are you? How quick are you to spread the good news that He lives?
You may not be quick responding to messages all day like Sister Howells and I, and talking to all on the streets who we receive us. But you can hasten the work. You can be quick to see a need, fill the need, and do a good deed. You can be quick to be an example of Christ. You can be quick to "choose the harder right than the easier wrong" (Thomas S. Monson). You can be the means of changing a life for eternity.

I know that the work is hastening in these latter days. I know that Christ's love is more than sufficient for us all. He has and will continue to heal us. He will perform miracles if we just are quick to act and quick to change. And last of all, I know, He lives.
