Know Knows. No Nos.

Aloha Family a me Friends,

One of the greatest times of the transfer came around this past week...Zone Conferene! Instead of boring you with all my takeaways I'll just keep it to one. Sister Teuscher spoke simply and powerfully on "Knowing Him".

In life, we often create a deep relationships of trust and love with different people. We basically become obsessed with that person and won't stop talking about them and want EVERYONE to know that person. When we cultivate a godly relationship with our Savior by undertanding His love for us, knowing who He is, and remembering Him...we will trust Him and He will trust us (and we won't shut up about Him because we are obsessed lol).
And if there's anything we should be addicted to, let it be the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let it be something that consumes us physically, spiritually, and emotionally for the better in this life and the life to come.

Also. I just really like the word "know". There comes so much more power by knowing and not thinking. Don't think something. Don't think you know the gospel but just, simply, know it. Internalize it. Make it a part of your daily life, make it a part of who you are. Know your potential. Say "no" to any thought of inadequacy or fear. Know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ enables and enobles.
Know to "Keep loving. Keep trying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever" ("Tomorrow the Lord Will Do Wonders among you", Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, April 2016 General Conference).

Know know's. No no's. Tomatoe. TomAto.

I love President and Sister Teuscher. They are some of the most humblest and dilligent people I have known and I know that Heavenly Father has called them to further His work in New York City at this time. Oh man what a time to be alive and to be serving the Lord. Wow. So good. So goood!

Levain's Cookies. Nom nom nom.
(they beat out Chip Cookies by far lol)
Randoms
1) Went to Levain's Bakery one day to try their famous cookies (which are like hecka expensive $4 per cookie). Twas yummy. Went to a members home the next day to find out that the husband works at Levain's and gave us like 10 cookies. Not to mention his wife is a graphic designer at Coach (like the bag company). How cool are they?! Just the raddest.

5) Gave our district a challenge of who could find the greatest miracle at 7/11 on July 11. Gotta make missionary work fun. Anyways. We did end up getting a few peoples contact information as we got free slurpees #foodmiracles
6) Tracted into this super cool Jamaican woman. Who basically told us that she wants to be baptised just like Jesus Christ and doesnt know why all these churches don't do that. We can definitely help you out with that! Jamaicans talk quite a bit just fyi...haha stay tuned
