Time to Walk. Time to Listen. Time to Se(a) Turtles.

Last Monday at Grotto Bay with Sister Moss! Nice and sunny

Good day family and friends!

It seems as though time is against me right now. The work is picking up. People are progressing. People are legit SOO close to getting baptized. The weather is getting warmer...and I have one week here. Every sunset, every member I say bye too, every time I look out to the beautiful blue waters, every time I see the same people at the bus stops and in town (everyday). Am I being dramatic? Possibly. But probably not because this place has become home to me lol.
If any of you really know me...you know I like to go go go. I like to be a busy bee. I like to have lots of things to do. But more so (since my time in Bermuda), I have realized that there is a time for this and that.

"1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance"

There is a time for everything. A time to work and a time to play and relax. When we are on the right track as disciples of Christ, a path that is straight narrow and set before us, we don't have to fear. We don't have to worry about overworking ourselves. We don't have to worry about wasting time. We can know that we are doing exactly what is in His will and plan. We can know that the highs and lows are part of this mortal experience. We can know that if we hold out steadfast and firm then the blessings will come. As Jeffrey R. Holland has once said "Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don't come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ they come".

Surely one of the greatest blessings we can receive is that of direct and clear direrction and revelation. Truly this past weekend were the heavens outpouring with revelation with the church as a whole and for individuals (if you missed it..shame on you. go to lds.org and watch them).

Bless her heart.
Going back to how I like to be a busy bee. Yes, I can sometimes create a list of things longer than I am able to accomplish in a mere 24 hours. And at times it can be stressful. However, as Kyle S. McKay told us this past weekend...God's timing is different than ours but patience is key. When we face hardships, often times deliverance isn't immediate. But what is immediate is the peace, hope, and love. Nothing we do or what others do will ever seperate us from this love. We never stand alone even when we feel like we are far, physically or spiritually). Keep going, keep praying, there is "a time to every purpose under the heaven".

Well. This was a bit all over the place. Sorry, the sun came out to play and we are gonna go look for some sea turtles today.... :)

Randoms:
1) The youth completed the FIRST trek on the island! They went from end to end (23 miles) and got lots of attention and will even be in the newspaper soon! Good job youth!
2) Ate too much loquat pound cake this weekend at conference. This branch just likes to eat, eat, eat. Pros and cons to that one.
3) The Moss' took us to lunch at Grotto Bay (a resort) last Monday to celebrate my companions birthday! Later on we made a killer German Chocolate Cake.
4) We had interviews via videocall this past weekend. Trying to convince him to let me stay or  go back to the Bronx or Harlem. He told me he is 99.9% sure which areas I am NOT going to haha.
5) Wore pants for the first time (about time I know I know). But we got a LOT of comments. Lots of "woah I've never seen the girls in pants before". Haha...when basically the whole island knows who the missionaries are.
7) Sneakily picked THE ripest loquats one could ever behold...with the help of a nice long umbrella and my jumping skills.
8) A lady I worked with in October in Harlem, Ana, got baptized a few weeks ago!! Oh what a joy it is to see the fruits of your labors :)
Look we got to participate in Trek too! Missionaries-> Pioneers

Mirror selfie. Depicting our relationship as a companionship haha
